The MintSealed program at DEIGOLDANDSILVERCOINS is simple. When you sell a MintSealed Silver Eagle to us, you can be confident that each coin is in the same condition as it was when packaged by the United States Mint. When we receive US Mint Monster Boxes of American Silver Eagles, our team inspects the box to ensure none of the tubes inside have been tampered with.
To maintain the integrity of the coins, we select only those tubes showing no signs of handling and verify the plastic seal remains intact. This ensures the coins were not tampered with at the mint or after, assuring us of the exact condition of the coins we purchase.
For our newer MintSealed Singles, the process is similar. We break out individual 1 oz American Silver Eagles from tubes that have not been tampered with and seal each coin in plastic using a clamshell machine. Each coin is then secured within a card containing details such as the date, weight, and purity.
As mentioned, our initial MintSealed purchases were 1 oz American Silver Eagles. When you sell a MintSealed Silver Eagle Tube to us, it will include 20 individual coins inside the original plastic tube that the US Mint packaged them in. These tubes are carefully inspected and confirmed to be sealed before we complete the purchase.
A newer addition to our MintSealed program, MintSealed Singles consist of individual 1 oz American Silver Eagles housed in clamshell cards. Each coin is verified to remain in the same condition as when the US Mint shipped it. The coin is sealed in plastic and enclosed within the card, which provides details of the coin’s date, weight, and purity.
